Git-Analytics

Advanced analytics for Git repositories — commits, authors, code churn, lines of code, trends, and visual dashboards.

Hey everyone 👋 I've been digging for a good system to visualize and analyze my Git repository. Most tools I tried were either outdated or didn't meet my needs. So guess what? I decided to build my own open-source system to get real insights into my code history! Introducing git-analytics — a lightweight open-source tool for git analytics, git statistics, git metrics, and git stats. What works today: - Visualization of each contributor's commit count - Charting added vs deleted lines per author - Breakdown of commits by type (fix, feature, test, docs… you name it) - Heatmaps for commits by hour of day, day of week, day of month — with drill-down navigation - Graph of code size changes over time
