Unlike the usual separate labeling, training and serving pipelines, Pictograph lets you go from SAM3 auto‑annotation to TensorRT‑powered live inference in a single app or CLI. I built it to give agents and developers a seamless way to label, train and deploy real‑time vision models. Would love your thoughts on the workflow 😊

Pictograph takes a vision task from raw images to a live endpoint. SAM3 drafts boxes and masks from a click, a box or a text prompt, on one image or a whole dataset, and you review the drafts before you train. Train RF-DETR (detection, instance segmentation, keypoints), YOLOX, Segformer or a classifier on managed GPUs, and export to COCO, YOLO, Pascal VOC and nine other formats. Deploy a model as a TensorRT endpoint on a T4, L4 or A100: stream a camera to it over RTSP or WebRTC and get each frame's results back (YOLOX-s: 3.75 ms from capture to result on an L4), or build workflows that track objects, count line crossings and measure dwell time. Everything is an API, a Python SDK and a CLI with --json output, so an AI agent can drive it; a Claude Code plugin teaches Claude the platform. Free plan with $5 of monthly compute, no card.

Pictograph lets you label, train and deploy computer-vision models with SAM3 auto-annotation, managed GPU training and TensorRT live endpoints.

Key features

6 features of Pictograph
  • SAM3 auto-annotation — Draft bounding boxes, masks or text prompts on single images or datasets and review drafts before training.
  • Managed GPU training — Train detection, segmentation, keypoint or classification models on chosen GPUs without conversion scripts.
  • TensorRT live deployment — Deploy models as real-time endpoints on T4/L4/A100 and stream video via RTSP or WebRTC.
  • CLI, Python SDK & REST API — All actions available via command line, SDK or API with JSON output for agent integration.
  • Workflows & analytics — Run video workflows that track objects, count line crossings and measure dwell time with webhook delivery.
  • Dataset & model import/export — Import from V7, Roboflow or custom files and export to COCO, YOLO, Pascal VOC and 12 other formats.

Use cases

  • Label large image collections with SAM3 and review uncertain drafts before training.
  • Train a custom object detector on managed GPUs and export to ONNX for edge deployment.
  • Deploy a model as a TensorRT endpoint and stream live video for real-time object tracking.
  • Run a people-counter workflow on surveillance video to get counts, dwell time and occupancy.
  • Integrate vision inference into an AI agent using the Python SDK or Claude Code plugin.

  • Pictograph vs Replicate: Runs and fine-tunes AI models via API, but focuses on generic model serving rather than full vision pipeline tooling.
  • Pictograph vs Directus: Provides a headless CMS for data, not specialized vision labeling, training or live deployment.
  • Pictograph vs Vonage: Offers communication APIs (SMS, voice, video) rather than computer-vision pipelines.
  • Pictograph vs Ollama: Runs open language models locally; unrelated to vision model training or deployment.

Pictograph FAQ

What are compute credits?+

Compute credits are a monthly USD balance that pays for GPU work such as auto-annotation, training, deployments and workflows.

Is there a card required for the free plan?+

No, the free plan provides $5 of monthly compute without requiring a credit card.

Are there per-seat or per-label fees?+

No, plans have flat monthly fees; manual annotation is always free and there are no per-seat or per-label charges.

What happens if I run out of compute?+

Operations pause at the allowance and you are warned; you can add a card for pay-as-you-go or upgrade the plan.

Can I change plans later?+

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time with immediate effect and prorated billing.
