I built Human Turn to stop the endless pull‑request checking cycle. It watches reviews, CI and coding agents from the Mac menu bar and notifies you only when your attention is actually needed. It works with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and Cursor on macOS 14+. Let me know what you think 😊

I built Human Turn because my development workflow has changed quite a bit with coding agents. At any given time I might have a PR waiting for review, CI running, another PR waiting on changes, and a Cursor or Copilot agent working in the background. I found myself repeatedly checking all of them just to answer one question: Is there anything I need to do right now? Human Turn is a native macOS menu bar app that tries to answer exactly that. Thank you

Key features

6 features of Human Turn
  • Unified monitoring — Watches reviews, CI runs and coding agents across GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket Cloud and Cursor.
  • Contextual alerts — Notifies when a review request, failed check, finished agent or merge-ready PR needs your action.
  • Focus controls — Snooze, mute or ignore items with per-repository settings and sensible cooldowns.
  • On-device summaries — Shows change summaries using Apple Intelligence locally without sending code to servers.
  • Keyboard-friendly — Supports keyboard navigation, launch at login and stays in the menu bar without Dock clutter.
  • Privacy by design — Runs locally, stores credentials in Keychain and never transmits repository data to Human Turn servers.

Use cases

  • Get notified when a pull request you own is ready for review or merge.
  • Know instantly when a CI check fails and requires fixing.
  • See when a coding agent (Cursor, Copilot) needs input or has completed its task.
  • Pause notifications for noisy repositories while focusing on high-priority work.
