Heya DevHunt! From an engineering perspective, the hardest part was capturing full-stack context without slowing apps down. We experimented with a bunch of approaches before landing on something lightweight + OpenTelemetry-compatible, so that people can just plug-n-play. We’ve iterated a lot on the design so that there’s valuable information above the fold, highlighting the critical bits and removing the noise. I’m happy to answer any questions and if you have any piece of feedback, I’d love to hear from you either here or on X.
Multiplayer is a local debugging agent that feeds full-stack data to coding AIs to auto-generate high-quality pull requests.
- for
- Developers using AI coding assistants who need production-level bug fixes.
- pricing
- free
- license
- MIT
Key features
- Full-stack data capture — Collects unsampled frontend, backend, logs, and request/response details for AI agents.
- Plug-and-play AI integration — Routes issues to Claude Code, Codex, Copilot or any preferred coding agent.
- Local-first security — Runs locally, caches sessions, and sends only selected data to protect code.
- Intelligent deduplication — Identifies duplicate bugs so each issue generates only one PR.
- Reduced PR slop — Transforms noisy logs into a handful of high-quality automated pull requests.
Use cases
- Automatically generate PRs to fix runtime bugs detected in production
- Provide AI agents with complete request/response context for accurate fixes
- Eliminate manual log grepping by supplying correlated full-stack data
- Reduce review fatigue by deduplicating identical bugs
Multiplayer FAQ
How does Multiplayer connect to my existing coding agent?+
It runs locally alongside the agent and routes issues directly to Claude Code, Codex, Copilot or any other supported AI.
Is my source code sent to external services?+
No, Multiplayer runs locally and only sends data you explicitly allow, keeping your code secure.
What data does Multiplayer collect?+
It captures full-stack, auto-correlated, unsampled data including logs, traces, and request/response headers.
How does issue deduplication work?+
Multiplayer identifies when the same bug is reported multiple times and creates a single PR to avoid duplicate work.
Can I try Multiplayer before committing?+
Yes, you can get started for free directly from the website.
