I’m Kofi, product manager at JoatCart 🥳 On behalf of our team, I’m thrilled to introduce JoatCart - Africa’s simplest and most profitable eCommerce platform! At JoatCart, our mission is to make the simplest and most profitable eCommerce platform ever (❗️) built in Africa. 🎯 How has this turned into our mission? In our interactions with merchants from mature eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Ecwid, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce, my CEO and the team was able to identify and understand the problems associated with these established eCommerce platforms. We discovered that eCommerce platforms in Africa either lack country-specific payment integrations (like Flutterwave, Paystack, Vult, etc.) or put high transaction fees for them. Also, in order to have fully functional online stores with automation & conversion tools, merchants need to install third-party 10-20 third-party apps or plugins at additional costs. Recognizing the demand for location-specific payment solutions and conversion & automation tools, we took it upon ourselves to build JoatCart with these built-in apps and payment gateways.
