Render status

Is Render down?

The current Render status, read from Render’s official status page: overall status, each component, open incidents and recent outages. If everything is green but Render still fails for you, the problem is probably closer to you (network, region, API key).

Couldn’t reach the Render status page

The status page didn’t answer in time (checked at 02:02 UTC). That can mean a wider outage or just a slow response; open the official page directly. Official Render status page ↗

What to do if Render is down

  • Check which component and region is affected: builds and the dashboard often fail while live traffic keeps serving.
  • Hold off on deploys and config changes until the incident is resolved; a failed deploy mid-incident is harder to roll back.
  • Use the provider’s CLI or API if only the dashboard is down.
  • Tell your users early: a status banner or a post saves you a pile of support tickets.

FAQ

Is Render down right now?+

The official status page didn’t answer when this page was last built. The status box at the top re-checks while you have it open, or open https://status.render.com directly.

Where is the official Render status page?+

https://status.render.com. It’s run by Render itself and lists each component, open incidents and past incidents. DevHunt reads its public status API; nothing here is added or guessed.

Render isn’t working for me, but the status page says it’s up. Why?+

Status pages update a few minutes after a problem starts, and small or regional issues sometimes never show up. Check your own network, VPN and API keys, try another browser or region, and look at the components list: one feature can fail while the rest works.

What can I use while Render is down?+

Common alternatives listed on DevHunt are linked below this FAQ. For a long outage, switch the part of your workflow that depends on Render; for short ones, retrying with backoff is usually enough.

Does DevHunt collect outage reports from users?+

No. This page only shows what Render’s official status page says, with the time it was checked. It does not count user reports, so it can lag behind an outage that Render hasn’t acknowledged yet.
