WorkOS status

Is WorkOS down?

The current WorkOS status, read from WorkOS’s official status page: overall status, each component, open incidents and recent outages. If everything is green but WorkOS still fails for you, the problem is probably closer to you (network, region, API key).

Couldn’t reach the WorkOS status page

The status page didn’t answer in time (checked at 01:52 UTC). That can mean a wider outage or just a slow response; open the official page directly. Official WorkOS status page ↗

What to do if WorkOS is down

  • Users who are already signed in usually keep working while sessions are valid; avoid forcing sign-outs during an incident.
  • Show a clear "sign-in is temporarily unavailable" message instead of a generic error.
  • Check whether only one sign-in method (SMS, social login, email links) is affected and point users to another one.

FAQ

Is WorkOS down right now?+

The official status page didn’t answer when this page was last built. The status box at the top re-checks while you have it open, or open https://status.workos.com directly.

Where is the official WorkOS status page?+

https://status.workos.com. It’s run by WorkOS itself and lists each component, open incidents and past incidents. DevHunt reads its public status API; nothing here is added or guessed.

WorkOS isn’t working for me, but the status page says it’s up. Why?+

Status pages update a few minutes after a problem starts, and small or regional issues sometimes never show up. Check your own network, VPN and API keys, try another browser or region, and look at the components list: one feature can fail while the rest works.

What can I use while WorkOS is down?+

Common alternatives listed on DevHunt are linked below this FAQ. For a long outage, switch the part of your workflow that depends on WorkOS; for short ones, retrying with backoff is usually enough.

Does DevHunt collect outage reports from users?+

No. This page only shows what WorkOS’s official status page says, with the time it was checked. It does not count user reports, so it can lag behind an outage that WorkOS hasn’t acknowledged yet.
