Sanity status

Is Sanity down?

The current Sanity status, read from Sanity’s official status page: overall status, each component, open incidents and recent outages. If everything is green but Sanity still fails for you, the problem is probably closer to you (network, region, API key).

What to do if Sanity is down

  • Serve the last cached content: statically built pages keep working when the CMS API is down.
  • Hold off on publishing until the incident is resolved, so edits don’t get lost or half-published.

FAQ

Is Sanity down right now?+

The official status page didn’t answer when this page was last built. The status box at the top re-checks while you have it open, or open https://www.sanity-status.com directly.

Where is the official Sanity status page?+

https://www.sanity-status.com. It’s run by Sanity itself and lists each component, open incidents and past incidents. DevHunt reads its public status API; nothing here is added or guessed.

Sanity isn’t working for me, but the status page says it’s up. Why?+

Status pages update a few minutes after a problem starts, and small or regional issues sometimes never show up. Check your own network, VPN and API keys, try another browser or region, and look at the components list: one feature can fail while the rest works.

What can I use while Sanity is down?+

Common alternatives listed on DevHunt are linked below this FAQ. For a long outage, switch the part of your workflow that depends on Sanity; for short ones, retrying with backoff is usually enough.

Does DevHunt collect outage reports from users?+

No. This page only shows what Sanity’s official status page says, with the time it was checked. It does not count user reports, so it can lag behind an outage that Sanity hasn’t acknowledged yet.
