Pinecone status

Is Pinecone down?

The current Pinecone status, read from Pinecone’s official status page: overall status, each component, open incidents and recent outages. If everything is green but Pinecone still fails for you, the problem is probably closer to you (network, region, API key).

Couldn’t reach the Pinecone status page

The status page didn’t answer in time (checked at 01:52 UTC). That can mean a wider outage or just a slow response; open the official page directly. Official Pinecone status page ↗

What to do if Pinecone is down

  • Find your project’s region in the components list; many incidents hit one region only.
  • Back off retries and connection storms: reconnect loops can keep a recovering database down for longer.
  • Serve cached reads and show a read-only mode if writes fail.

FAQ

Is Pinecone down right now?+

The official status page didn’t answer when this page was last built. The status box at the top re-checks while you have it open, or open https://status.pinecone.io directly.

Where is the official Pinecone status page?+

https://status.pinecone.io. It’s run by Pinecone itself and lists each component, open incidents and past incidents. DevHunt reads its public status API; nothing here is added or guessed.

Pinecone isn’t working for me, but the status page says it’s up. Why?+

Status pages update a few minutes after a problem starts, and small or regional issues sometimes never show up. Check your own network, VPN and API keys, try another browser or region, and look at the components list: one feature can fail while the rest works.

What can I use while Pinecone is down?+

Common alternatives listed on DevHunt are linked below this FAQ. For a long outage, switch the part of your workflow that depends on Pinecone; for short ones, retrying with backoff is usually enough.

Does DevHunt collect outage reports from users?+

No. This page only shows what Pinecone’s official status page says, with the time it was checked. It does not count user reports, so it can lag behind an outage that Pinecone hasn’t acknowledged yet.
