What to do if Paddle is down
- Use idempotency keys when you retry payment API calls, so a retry never charges twice.
- Don’t mark orders as failed on a timeout; reconcile against the provider once it’s back.
- Webhooks are usually delivered late rather than lost; make your handlers idempotent and wait for the backlog.

FAQ
Is Paddle down right now?+
The official status page didn’t answer when this page was last built. The status box at the top re-checks while you have it open, or open https://paddlestatus.com directly.
Where is the official Paddle status page?+
https://paddlestatus.com. It’s run by Paddle itself and lists each component, open incidents and past incidents. DevHunt reads its public status API; nothing here is added or guessed.
Paddle isn’t working for me, but the status page says it’s up. Why?+
Status pages update a few minutes after a problem starts, and small or regional issues sometimes never show up. Check your own network, VPN and API keys, try another browser or region, and look at the components list: one feature can fail while the rest works.
What can I use while Paddle is down?+
Common alternatives listed on DevHunt are linked below this FAQ. For a long outage, switch the part of your workflow that depends on Paddle; for short ones, retrying with backoff is usually enough.
Does DevHunt collect outage reports from users?+
No. This page only shows what Paddle’s official status page says, with the time it was checked. It does not count user reports, so it can lag behind an outage that Paddle hasn’t acknowledged yet.
