Great question Zain, Synapse listens to the native filesystem event watcher ie. inotify for Linux, fsevents/mac_listener for macOS, and inotify-win for Windows. The OS watcher streams file events back to Synapse, triggering embedding updates and keeping Synapse's structural code graph up to date in near real time. Hope that helps.
