I build native C# security tools for Windows. All my apps are 100% offline, with no cloud dependencies and no telemetry. Currently working on WinRansomProtect (anti-ransomware), DocRedactNow (document redaction), and WinSystemHarden (system hardening).

Hey DevHunt, I built WinSystemHarden because I got tired of hardening scripts that break things and give you no way to undo them. It's a native C# desktop app. It applies 29 security rules (disabling SMBv1, closing ports, ACL hardening), but the key feature is safety: it takes a snapshot of your ACLs and system state before making changes. If an old app or printer stops working, you just click rollback and it reverts everything instantly. It's 100% offline, completely free, and doesn't require any accounts. I'd love to hear your feedback on the rollback logic or any specific CIS rules you think I should add next.

I built DocRedactNow because I hate uploading sensitive client files to online redaction tools. It's a native C# desktop app that permanently removes PII from PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and TXT files. It's tiny (12.8MB), runs 100% offline, and handles batch processing for entire folders. It recently got 4.5/5 on Softpedia. If you try it, let me know how the batch processing handles your files. Any specific rules or formats you want to see next?

Hey DevHunt! I built WinRansomProtect because I wanted a lightweight, fully offline defense layer for Windows. It uses behavioral analysis (32 rules) to catch processes that try to mass-encrypt or delete shadow copies. It runs entirely locally, uses under 5% CPU, and doesn't touch the network. No cloud, no accounts. Rated 4.9/5 on Softonic. I'd love to hear your feedback on the detection logic!
