Windows Virtual Machines for Computer-Use Agents

Skylight builds and hosts virtual Windows computers that can be operated by computer-use agents. You can spin up a persistent Windows instance in seconds and run an agent to automate any desktop apps, including Microsoft Office, ERP systems, EHR software, or any legacy software that runs on Windows. We integrated in a custom agent that hits SOTA performance, or you can plug in your own using our API + SDK. We're a team of DeepMind Scholar + PhD AI engineers who built this because we found it weirdly hard to deploy CUAs in production. We included the features we wanted for ourselves: - Persistence – pause and resume VMs without losing progress - Interactive Live Streaming – watch agents work in real time and take control if needed - Multiple Instances – run multiple VMs at once and coordinate across them - File Downloads – pull files from VMs to your local machine - Knowledge Base – agents retain context of past actions - Human-in-the-Loop – guardrails for important and irreversible actions To start your first Windows WM, run (in Python): pip install skylight-sdk from skylight_sdk import Skylight skylight = Skylight(apikey="your_api_key") instance = skylight.windows.start() For Typescript and SDK + API Reference, check out the docs: https://docs.launchskylight.com/introduction HN devs - would love honest feedback on the SDK/API design and whether this solves your Windows VM pain points.
