I convinced everyone at work to set up an img proxy 8 months ago, and we've been very happy with it ever since. We proxy all images on the fly: avif, webp, and compressed jpg. Now, we don't worry about someone uploading a large picture to the CMS. So, I wish you 1st place; you definitely deserve it! 💪🏻
